India ISI Certification

The Indian government is increasingly stringent safety and quality requirements for building materials, chemicals, machinery, and electrical products. The scope of products requiring ISI accreditation has expanded to 641 items as of 2024, including cement, household appliances, food, auto parts, cylinders, valves, medical equipment, steel products, power transformers, electric motors, chemicals, fertilizers, polymers, textiles, kitchenware, plugs, cables, toys, footwear, screws, bolts, aluminum and aluminum alloy products, medical textiles, copper products, agricultural textiles, and door fittings, among others.
