TISI Certification Adds Six New Mandatory Products

The Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) is expected to include the following 6 product categories within the scope of TISI mandatory certification starting from September 2026:

Secondary Lithium Cells and Batteries for Energy Storage Systems	TIS 63056-2567
DC Circuit Breakers	TIS 60947 Part 2-2569
Cables for Photovoltaic Systems	TIS 62930-2564
Inverters for Photovoltaic Systems	TIS 2603 Part 2-2556

Currently, TISI has not yet officially issued the mandatory implementation announcement for the aforementioned products. The actual mandatory date and final requirements will be subject to subsequent official announcements by TISI.

TISI has already begun accepting factory inspection applications for the aforementioned products. For companies planning to export related products to Thailand, it is recommended to confirm product specifications in advance to facilitate subsequent application arrangements.
